sweet sharpness

Great image. Simple, with depth.

I think is just a good all around self portrait. It has the intense feel of some of Chromaisa's street portraits. An interesting face, nice sharp detail, so on. Very nice.

A very strong image. I really like this.The relatively long DoF somehow works well.

I didn't really like the thumbnail of this, but after I clicked through I found the larger image to be very appealing. I find myself looking at it for quite a while... all the details around the eyes, mouth, ears.

in the eyes i see a real straight forwardness, a willingness to meet things head on.
but in the mouth i see a hesitancy, maybe a second guessing
so there is a push/pull quality to this that i find revealing
