I like this simple quintessential photographer's shot of himself. I do wish there was a little more of you in the shot though, namely your face. I know that many photographers like to photograph themselves like this, as though they embody the camera. But I think the viewer is looking for a little bit more of a hint of who the person is behind the camera, and since there is no glimpse of your face at all, it's difficult to get a read on you. Instead I focus on things like what kind of camera is that, how I like your watch and your jacket, how I like your sideburns, etc. But I am not sure if that is the effect you are going for?

I like your watch, and this is a good quality, simple shot... but I would hope for something a touch more creative.
