It would have been cool to do a mirror image of this, so the words would show up the right way. :O)

The angle of the arms, placement of the camera, and the one eye makes the photo work well for me. The use of black & white along with the tones of the dark clothes makes a really nice photograph. I think, as far as technique/image-quality goes, the eye should be tad sharper like the right-hand hand knuckles are. Barring a reshoot- I would have applied some USM to the eyes and then compare the result to the original.

Although it's a traditional self-portrait- I like it very well and think it's a quite a bit better than you normally see.

It's a good quality photo, but it's a bit typical for a selfport from a photographer to be done this way.

A little obvious but nonetheless a good shot with excellent contrast to reveal the texture in the jacket.
