I can't say that I usually like treatment such as this, but as an entry for self-portraiture, it seems to work fine and is quite different from the rest. I think it could work well as a gallery exhibit with a series of your works- maybe not as well when used as stand alone.

Reminds me that I respect someone going out on the edge in post-processing and I should experiment more.

Ok here's the thing... I am not personally a fan of this sort of photoshop treatment. It has its place, I suppose, but in this context it feels gimmicky. Does it help me to understand who you are? I am not sure. I do like the intense contrast and composition, but could really do without the bright yellow/orange colors. Just one man's opinion, and nothing more.
