I'm not sure about the lighting choice here, might have put that somewhere other than the tip of the ear and the back of the head, but it's a nice silhouette. Thoughtful, strong and mysterious.

I like the lighting. Very dramatic.

Thanks for the comments.
King, I used two lights. One for the backdrop and the main one, a snoot, set behind me. There is no hair light, and I'm trying to remember how that highlight got there. It doesn't look like it came from the main light... I can't remember now. Hmm.
Ana, I always wanted it to be a silhouette, but I thought no lighting on the subject at all would be just a little dull.
Criag, you must be a handsome devil ;)

Is this Craig again? Craig has paricipated so much this week in the form of commennts that it seems that he should have used up his allotment of images.
Well, whether this is Craig or not, here is my critique. <King's-opinion> First, I like this image. It is distinctly different from most images submitted so far this week (that I remember seeing). You seem to have some lighting equipment and know how to use it, with three light sources impinging on the subject--although this could have been done well with only one light source. I wonder why you thought the "hair light" was necessary, given that there is little hair up where that highlight glistens--it doesn't appear to be necessary and may even distract.
With all that light, did you consider bouncing just a little back on the fact. It isn't a good face silhouette because the hands interfere, and most humans find the face to be the most interesting part of a portrait in any case--so why not offer just a little gratification?
I like the long shadow of the collar caused by the low positioning of the light.
All in all, high marks for this thoughtful, and well done portrait of yourself. <?King's-opinion>
