@King, if you read this: straightforward, that's what i wanted, but with quite a bit of photoshopping...

Some of the best photographers (e.g., Ansel Adams, Richard Avedon) went to the greatest extremes in the darkroom to make a print that best represented their vision at the time they clicked the shutter.

PhotoShop is sometimes just a virtual darkroom.
