This seems like a true way to get a self portrait.

I really like the selective focus in the mirror and the framing. That bottle of shampoo or whatever it is on the right is spoiling the shot for me though. Cloning that and the smaller one on the left out, or removing them before shooting would make this a stronger image I think.

Hey Dave :)

Was this taken in the same place as your first post?

Ana said 456 days ago:

i wish that bottle weren't there, but otherwise, this is really great.

Thanks for the feedback!!! This was taken in a cottage where I went snowmobiling. I left all the elements in the shot to show my surrounds as is. The bottle on the right is Vim cleaner! :o) I have another version of this photo with everything cropped out, but I felt it removed the uniqueness of the picture.

Heath: Yup...same spot!

Great expression!

No matter how hard I work at mussing up my hair, it doesn't look like yours. I like this funny, quasi-serious photo. I don't understand the point of the out-of-focus stuff in the foreground--cleaning supplies? I recognize the face but don't have the name yet--it's a senior thing.
Exept for the "photographer takes photo of self in mirror" cliche, this is a good contribution to the theme. My ratings may not raise your average closer to being featured, but probably won't hurt much, either.

Ha! Thanks King. I figured I'd throw this one into the mix to appease the masses that said I showed too little of myself last time. As for the messy hair, just wear a snowmobile helmet for 3 hours, remove and voila!
