Two central small monitors prevent a low details of your head and face... I would like, if you turn-off these two central monitors... :)

I love this shot (again!). I think it's great how it shows you as you at work. Not sure if the fading is a symbol of how you feel about yourself, or just how the shot worked out. But I like it much!

I'm fascinated by this scene. I'm trying to figure out exactly what the person does who sits here. Good idea.

Do you have Photoshop loaded on that thing? I'd like the ratio of time-in-front to time-in-back to be a bit higher, so we could make out more detail in your person, but still see some of the apparatus showing through. Did you try to get the two monitors behind your head to look like Elton John glasses?

Thanks for the comments everyone. I did this shot in January of 2006. This is where I work, the production control room at WEAR-TV in Pensacola, Florida. I'm a newscast director and studio manager by day. (and often by night and early morning as well) I posted a pretty long narrative about this shot on my blog when I did it. I have a feeling this is Jack and I love that you have a TV screen for eyes. Love the take on this theme. I also adore seeing all the little things on the desk, American flag, can of spray something, little figures.

@ beckn32 - I keep all the figurines and stuffed animals in the control room to try and remind people not to take things too seriously. After all, we don't perform brain surgery in there.

The can of spray is berry flavored Lysol. I use that to spray down the headsets. Otherwise if one person on the crew gets sick, it quickly runs through all of us. There's some hand sanitizer back there for the same purpose.

The American flag came to the control room after 9/11. It just seemed appropriate.

So you may be getting close.
