If this were cropped horizontally, it might look like a still from a movie. That's a dramatic look you are giving the camera (helped by the lighting).

...the older I get, the less interested I seem to be in the technical aspects of an image. If it gets through to me, moves me, inspires me, then great.

However, I do value and appreciate great technical quality--perhaps not so much as some, that's all.

Lovely. The idea and the composition would deserve more than 5 each in my opinion.

If the sharpness wasn't a Holga-quality I'd have given it a straight score.

Still it's an almost-almost perfect score, be sure :)

@king : i agree with you, often it's the emotion which should outdo, the technique is only a means to achieve the aim.

I like the way you echoed the color of the doorway with your shirt color. The quality seems a little low here, but the composition is nice.
