Thanks for the comments! To everyone asking about the cold...yes, it was that cold! -24 Degrees without the windchill, and we were on snowmobiles! :)

Sometimes people actually think I'm serious (like you?). I got Vernon Trent to sell me one of his photographs for next to nothing, but he's pretty naieve.

I like this, the lighting is superb. Are the highlights snow? And there seems to be a bit of a halo around you which would suggest a different background but I am not sure. great eyes.

OK is that -24 F or C, big difference from where I live, 10 miles from the US/CAN border on the US side.

-24 C is not so bad! ;-)

Thanks mtmartini! -24 C when the wind wasn't blowing, but when you're crossing a lake on a snowmobile doing 95 mph, the windchill makes it feel like -45!!!!

To answer the other questions....yes the highlights are snow flakes, but I never noticed the halo until you pointed it out! Maybe it's my natural aura? Or the fact that I hadn't had a shower in 2 days when this was taken! LOL

My husband used to race snow machines in Alaska so he is accustomed to the cold wind but where we live in Upstate NY, the wind howls like the dickens and we hit -35 F once this winter with 20 MPH winds. In fact it is a positive blizzard outside as I write, damn snow.

OK who said cookies again, can they be warm, right out of the oven? mmmmmmm
