uvikidd? I was upstaged by the Golden Gate Bridge, but setting yourself on fire for a self portrait is going a bit too far.

Fascinating. Nice calm pose. Good work. High marks.

King said 471 days ago:

Oh...zulu. Sorry for the mixup. I think you two look a little bit alike, but maybe I'm wrong. Haven't seen enough of either of you to make a sound comparison.

zulu said 471 days ago:

Thanks for your comment. No problem about the mixup.
Now I am interested about the pic of uvikidd. I want ask you, please you have me a link to his blog?

King said 471 days ago:

He has posted three images in this theme, none featured yet, but you can take a look on Thursday. Here's his url:

Ana said 471 days ago:

very serious. and hot.

tsibley said 471 days ago:

Not very compelling, sorry.

zulu said 471 days ago:

@King
THX for the information. Yea he looks a little bit like me. From which country he is coming?

THX for all yours comments. Tanja first I interprete your comment as negative. Even if it looks like the devil, my heart impact for the other site :)
Ana I think you mean my face is serious!? Then the picture as self is it absolutly not ;)

@tsibley
You dont must excuse your self. Please tell me only why it is not compelling.

Bambi said 471 days ago:

hu, this reminds me of a movie.. I`m impressed!

bioLarzen said 471 days ago:

I love this one - especially that news presenter position :)

However, the seams are a bit too obvious at places, like the top of your hair or at the shoulders part.

A nice idea and a good picture, though, the tones of the fire are superb, so I gave you high marks.

Ana said 470 days ago:

I meant that you have a very serious look on your face..as well you should. :)

zulu said 470 days ago:

Although, I effort me for a easy smile :)

ArneG said 470 days ago:

Self vision is kinda scary .....

zulu said 470 days ago:

@ArneG
Are you serious? If yes, why? Isn`t it obvious, that I am self ironical?

Allthough I have a lot of good feedback on this one, it seems that few did not understand that it is not to be taken too serious...so these few people probably gave me such bad ratings, that my score was pulled down. I admid photoshop and quality could be better. But why do I have such bad ratings on impact?!

Hummingbird said 470 days ago:

This is an excellent concept. I only wish I didn't see the white coming through at the bend of your arms, but that being said much better than what could have done.

Hummingbird said 470 days ago:

I gave you a five on impact. This definitely got my attention.

mooch said 470 days ago:

For me, not all that adept when using photoshop, I would like this to be featured as you have achieved a flame reflection in the table. That deserves a medal.

How did you do it, clone tool?

zulu said 470 days ago:

Thank you mooch and Hummingbird :) So I feel me better!

Mooch, this was the easyst thing of the work. The original fire picture had a black background. With the software Gimp there is a color filter,it calls: color to transparent. So I had make the black color away. Only copy the rest of the pic over this table and use in PS multiply or overlay filter. Thats it..

zulu said 470 days ago:

Hummingbird
Yea I now, I forgot the with part :(

King said 469 days ago:

How can this not be featured?

zulu said 469 days ago:

Thanks King. Because of the bad ratings, I was not sure about this one any more...Since bad ratings equal bad picture...isn`t it so? Therefore I am reliefed because of your comment.

King said 469 days ago:

zulu,

No...it is not the case that bad ratings equal bad picture. Watch the Academy Awards sometime.

I am my own worse critic (aren't we all?). The trick is to know when you've done your best work, then to be at peace with it.

zulu said 469 days ago:

I am going to take your advise with me on my way.
