Isn't this a "David Hockney" Photoshop action? Doesn't matter. I like it a lot. It would be fun to see a higher-res version of this. I can't tell if the guy in the chair is supposed to be you as well--too small and the hat makes a difference as well.

King, this is not a Hockney photoshop action, although of course he is an inspiration for sure. This is in fact a digital image of a largish photo collage. Each "piece" of the whole is a 6"x4" print, and I put them together myself on a large piece of black cardboard. That's why the res is a bit ordinary - this is a shot of prints. I can't remember how many shots - 56 seems to come to mind.. all taken in the studio. Anyway, I shot myself holding a piece of paper, which when I put it all together, I then cut around the hands to make a holder of a type, and in the holder i placed a series of 6 hand printed 5"x7" black and whites, also all self images. I placed one in the holder yesterday when I took this shot. So that about covers everything except the why. This was a self image project for my Diploma of Photography... I call the whole thing "mini me", It's about 1 metre high. I'd love to get it framed one day...

Very cool. Sorry I missed this for rating. I've been wanting to do some Hockney stuff for a while, but I never seem to find inspiration. Perhaps this will help.

Love this, I love the Hockney style college's I posted a Hockney theme on Vazzar a while back but it did'nt take. Oh well, love this thanks for the shair.
