There seems to be a kind of peek-a-boo trend in the self-portraits, so it's getting a bit trite. Cropping such as this needs to have some kind of justification other than excising part of someone's head. The photo, however, does have some nice qualities. Keep Shooting!

Too much negative space, the face looks like cutout (and it probably is) and I don't see the purpose of the half-face.

Interesting composition choice. It's cool how you are just peeking into the frame...iwth a very serious look I might add ;)

I'd like to see a little more skin between the lips and the bottom of the frame and the eyebrow and top of the frame.

Overall quite cool though....neat how you can actually make out your pores!

I didn't realize the "peek-a-boo" trend was already considered "trite" ;) The again I rarely do many self portraits, or human subjects at all for that matter.
