Nice and clear with a good use of DOF, but the tone just doesnt seem right

Eyes tell you so much about a person. So I think a self portrait of just the eyes always has impact.

I'd like this better if the left eye (in the frame) was also in sharp focus. IMHO that would make it more intense. Might also work to crop it down to just the eyes alone (i.e. minus the ear at far right).
