Not sure what it says as a self portrait, but I love the image nonetheless.

Wow, what a beautiful picture. Well done. I must say though that as a portrait it doen't really work. You are so far away that it could really be anyone... I can't get a detail and learn about the person. It is more of a landscape shot with a person in it. Even if this landscape define who you are, it still doesn't really have a person in it - just a figure in the distance.
