Thanks everybody! For the record, the tape on the glasses is totally functional. I've had those glasses for waaaay too many years.

groen65 and bslomovic, I never saw this in color for some reason. When this popped into my head I went straight for black and white, but I totally see what you're saying...

The early Superman TV show was broadcast in B/W and that's the way I remember it best. So kudos on B/W.
