Stolenlife, while I understand what you are saying, a 'self' potrait is just that. Something that you see as being representitive of who you are. Maybe this person isn't posting his eyes for a very specific reason....? Makes it even more relevant, I believe.

stonelife: what would you define as a portrait??? Just because I haven't shown my full face doesn't mean it isn't a portrait, sure this is my interpretation of myself but it's a picture of me, and thus conforms to the ideas of portraiture and self portrait...
