Nice texture in this, but I feel it's lacking a little in impact ... maybe a tighter crop would have worked?

Fits the theme but the impact of this shot isn't there for me. Maybe if you had come in even closer for a macro shot (although you probably had limitations on your lens). Just too much to look at and some of the elements of this shot are distracting.
