Luke, I can see what you mean. This shot has the same sharpening as most of my shots, but I think the flash caught the tiny hairs and they've really 'zinged' when the sharpening was applied. I should maybe reduce the sharpening in those areas I guess.

Nice contrast in colors between the reds and greens and it's quite relevent, but it's lacking in strong impact.
