Love this on several levels. Only thing that distracts me is the business of the chess board. Draws my eye away from the flow of the subject. Or maybe if her feet had disrupted the chess pieces. Now I'm rambling. Love those pointy toes.

i really dig this shot! a 17-40 on a 5d? i'm dying for that rig... maybe a tad too much sharpening around the shoes - but i love the toning and composition.

Wow! It's a really cool photo. Five for the impact. Now let me guess what could be improved. Her upper foot looks somewhat overexposed - perhaps it has reflected a lot of light from your flash or some other source. It also would be great if we could see a size mark on her shoe.
