While most of the subject is not exactly out of focus, I do like how the slight different in colour around the child's eye brings attention to it. A different interpretation on this theme.

To me this photo has a strong impact, however I don't really understand why the foreground - the frame and the hole - is so far from focus. The blurred frame in the bottom is a bit distracting.
