Impressive! The execution of the DOF at first made the sky itself seem like a burst of fire. Very beautiful and striking.

Not really a big fan of the faked DOF and use of Photoshop. Especially when the parts of the buildings that should be in focus with the cars are not.

I would have cropped the top down, but nice shot with a very relevant effect!

i might have moved just beyond this car in the bottom right corner. It would open the picture up a little more... make the street feel more like you could step into the photo and walk down it. I love the colors and love the shot. i'm a sucker for city scenes.

shane, just for the record, this is no fake dof image. the dof is real; it's due to the lens, not post-processing.

tommyblue, i deliberately kept the car in the shot, so as to provide a sense of scale (that i oterhwise feared would be lost due to the placement of the focal plane). nonetheless, point is taken, and i'll think in those terms the next time;) thanks!
