I see some very subtle blurring of the background here, but not really "selective focus" (i.e. if I didn't see this image in this context, I don't think I'd include "selective focus" if I was describing your technique)
Besides that, I have to say that I really like how direct this kid's expression is, and the natural relaxed state of all three people in the shot. And looks like a perfect exposure aswell with alot of detail still showing inthe blacks and also in the highlights.
