Hmm.
I like the actual processing and the patterns/tones of this, but not sure of the subject.
I mean, this might be a neat way to process two people in b/w clothing, standing near a large sculpture with interesting lines. but two ladies holding soda bottles?
Relevant and interesting. Can't wait to hear the ideas behind it.

great object .. but i don't like the quality of this image

Quasi-solarized? Odd. I think this is an art photograph. I suspect cushmoK.

King said 249 days ago:

Hey, JIMJIM...the reference to cushmoK was a compliment.

Jem said 249 days ago:

I don't personally think the post-processing improves this shot - why did you choose that filtering technique?

Lange said 249 days ago:

The odd, negative quality of the skin and hands is interesting, but I am not sure if I feel it is a good addition or a ploy that fell flat.

Overall, a nice image with a bit of creative oddity thrown in. So, therefore a good effort!

Great subject, not a fan of the processing. The framing could have been better to connect the 2 bottles more, maybe by moving a little to your right and shooting more across the first bottle to the second?

Thanks everyone for the feed-back !!
This was funny and cute when shooting this during a party ..
i like the mymetics of the two hands :)
But the image in straight b&w did not really stand-out..!
So, well - I like the way the texture arises on the right-hand side bottle and also the fingers. Not sure either about the process (yep - solarized King !)...it was just a try and a way to get your feed-back !!
Thanks again for ALL your comments, feelings and suggestions..

Well, good marks on impact because I've never seen processing like this before.

JIMJIM said 248 days ago:

Thank you flipthom - not very successful for me in WS but very easy indeed - it's a solarisation (like in the Man Ray work..) in PS you have to convert your image BW and then use the curves with a ~ reverse curve - that should make something like this !!
And as Ana mentioned, maybe you can try make something different or better with different subjects (nude is great..) and play with the process and curves :)

Ana said 247 days ago:

playing with the process and curves of nudes?

well.... I never.
:)

JIMJIM said 246 days ago:

Yep - playing with nudes and curves - hmmmmmm, why did I say that ??
:)
