@nattfodd. his face came out too red, so i lowered the saturation a bit, i guess it didnt work for you :)

@king. its Pilsner, just bad lighting ;)

@pete: I was more talking about the general lighting. You used a direct flash, which makes harsh shadows, flat light on the face, not very nice specular highlights (especially on the glasses) and completely underexposed background. The hood makes this tricky, but I think a much better result would have been achieved by bouncing the flash off the ceiling or a wall, or diffusing it through a thin cloth.

@nattfodd. we were outside, so not much to bounce a flash off, the background was boring. and i was drunk :D
