Lots of potential here. Not sure you got the best of this subject. Image has a heavily compressed tonal range, which doesn't seem to match the mood of the scene. The faces are both hidden. The one that is profile falls off so hard it looks harsh.

I like the subtle blue tones in the processing and the refreshing take on the theme. It does feel a bit dark though...but I won't be hanky panky about it. Good work.

Something in this photo pulls on me to like it--and I do, despite the technical weakness/oddities. Was this shot just for the theme? My guess is not, in which case it's a good job of selection from your archives.

I do like this, although maybe if there was a little more detail visible in the vegetation? Not sure whether that would help, or just distract from the subject.
