I see the Blue Angels practice over my house most of the year which I referenced in my theme suggestion so that is commonplace. What you see here is not. A little over a week ago the #6 pilot was killed during an airshow in South Carolina. Today was the first practice since then. As you can see there are only five planes. There are normally six. They have still not announced who the replacement pilot will be.

This was also my first attempt to photograph these and it was much harder than I had anticipated and any advice would be appreciated.

I really do appreciate the feature, but the more I look at this the more things I find wrong with it including the fact that I accidentally shot this at 1600 iso. I just really wanted to show the Blues first day back up and what I see over my house all the time, albeit right now minus one plane.
