According to the sign it looks as if this wasn't taken in the last day or so like the theme is asking. Love the color of the clothes though.

It's a relatively average shot, I think compositionally you could have achieved a lot simply by getting down on a knee, or even further. The full-on-face sunlight is not doing you favors here, either. His pose is odd, I assume purposely done this way, but I think it looks goofy. So does the hood hanging half-way off his head.

Finally, the goal was to post something current or recent, but Aug 11th is NOT this Friday, but nine months ago. I hope to read how this reflects your everyday life - are you in a band? I do like the whole 80s revival thing, and Vans, red tube-pants and fingerless gloves certainly remind me of my college days, when I owned and ran an independent record label.

This reminds me of a honeymoon picture that Jack took of me in Barcelona when I saw a big concert sign advertising Bruce Springstreen and I had to have my picture taken by it. I keep coming back to it because of that.
