The selecive desaturation adds a little extra to this domestic scene.

Apart from the fact that the flash is a bit too hars and blows out the central part, I like this one because it really looks like someone's everyday moment.

I can't really see the point of the selective saturation, though.

I am not sure about some of the soft focus or blur, it doesn't seem natural but I really like the selective saturation and the overall image.

I don't understand the selective coloring - why are some cookies in color, and others not?

@Flatline - because the Nazi regime required by law that wear a yellow star of david on their clothing to identify them as jews, in order that the discriminatory laws prohibiting certain services etc. being extended to jews could be properly effected.

Unlikely that anyone would take offence from this shot, but the colouring is a little unfortunate, and is no doubt what bioLarzen was referring to.

There are moons, stars,mushrooms and hearts. Some are in colors and the other steps simply for technical reasons.
