Good relevance, but not so interesting subject. The face expression is not particularly appealing, and the flash reflections disturb me. Perhaps a closer crop would do it better justice?

A closer crop would probably leave out the cameras on the left and I guess they are vital parts of the compo.

someone who works in television or graphics, maybe? I like the idea of this, but I'd sure like to see more of the surroundings. It's a bit limited, and quite focused on the person instead of the scene.

This is a good photograph, IMHO, and I see your image used as a backdrop. I think it is also a good photograph of you. May we assume that this is a self portrait?

I'm tempted to "punish" you with low ratings, given your contempt for the theme and your admission of that both with your first submission and on the WeeklyShot Google group and the fact that you have not yet apologized to Anna, an apology which I sincerely believe you owe her.

However, I can make the distinction between my displeasure with your recent remarks and the quality of this image. It is clear that you aspire to quality in your photography...I wish you were as interested in the quality of your online relationships.

The reason for this post is to celebrate the fact that my work will form the backdrop to the regional news studio 'BBC South Today'. I have undertaken work for the BBC in the past but never on this scale. It is the first time that I have actually viewed this, in-situ and I visited, today! It is a composite of 5 images in total, 4 of which are mine. It would have been all five but one of the directors wanted their image to be used.

I was surprised how small the television studio was.

Here is a guy who takes his self-portrait in front of some images that he took that ended up being used (albeit in a highly diluted manner) as the backdrop for his local TV station in England.

It's an OK photo I guess, but nothing spectacular. However, I would have to say that it does speak volumes about its author, and his everyday life.

Self-celebration appears to be a pretty regular thing for you. ;)

@mooch, I really do like this submission and you have every right to be very proud of the fact that some of your images are being used as a backdrop for the tv news. I know I would be if I were in your position.
