25. I love the mood, the perspective, the colours...

Not exactly sure what to make of this image. I enjoy the textures and the sepia tone. But, I am not sure if this is from a specialty camera (the LOMO, or the Diana, or whatnot) or from Photoshop, or some other reason.....and I think that would help me to better understand the image. The picture really does look like it is an old snapshot from the late 50s or early 60s.... the architecture and the furnishings and floor have that sort of feel.

I would be very interested in hearing more from the photographer. I hope he/she will tell us some background.

Looks official and civic.
I wanna know more.
The color tone adds to the loneliness here.

@nattfood - ur kind words are duly appreciated...

@lange - it depends on how broad your views are when u use the term 'speciality'. This is actually a shot from my camera-phone (3.2 megs)...few realise it, but these pictures can be easily manipulated in photoshop to prodcue what you have called a 50s-60s feel...ironic isnt it? - u can make a picture that is essentially of poor quality into a piece that is considered artistic by making use of its flaws...as to the location, it is the locker room of my school which is where i was hiding on friday as i had decided to bunk club assembly ;-)...

@mysight - certainly official, its a school locker room...

I am curious as to the story behind this shot. Quite a stark image.

Are those a pair of fireman's boots back there? Firemen are my heroes and for good reason.

I like the blur of the person walking into the frame, the little sparklies on the floor and the tones in the b/w image. It has a strange quality, though, like unsharpness? or a moire pattern? that may just be my monitor.

I hope you will tell us about this.

I wish the figure walking by were in the middle of the isle instead of barly visible. But sometimes things just can't be helped. I like the tones of this.
