An absolutely wonderful and unexpected shot. The various fountains that must run under the grating are captivating. The child's focus is very good (although perhaps face on into the camera would have been even more impressive). Overall very strong!

Nice! I really like the symmetrical tiles in contrast with the fluidity of the water and the running kid. If you could have found an angle without the walls in the back, it would have been all 5's for me.

Thank you all for your nice comments. This picture was taken at Costa Nova beach, near Aveiro, Portugal. This is a public space mostly for kids; that day I have noticed 3 or 4 kids playing around, challenging the water jets; so I decided to wait, and after 10 shots and half an hour, I was as happy as those kids.
