Old school! I don't care how easy it is to download from iTunes, it's still not like going into the record store and browsing. Thanks for the image.

Audiophile I assume.
Looks kinda bummed like he can't find what he wants.
Wish I could fill up a sack with my choice of that
music!

Huge part of my life. Not Tower Records...but music. Something I see everyday. Great picture

Reminds me of the movie, "High Fidelity." So you are interested in vinyl? or are these mainly CD's? Nice retro processing. High marks.

We really don't have a good record store here, but I like this.

The relevance is presumably there - looks like pretty everyday to me, at least :).
If it wasn't a tiny bit overcontrast for my taste it would be a perfect sccore - but, of course this still means a very high one :)

jack,
"I don't care how easy it is to download from iTunes, it's still not like going into the record store and browsing."
My exact words. Nothing beats that feeling.

Are there any Towers left? I can't believe this was taken in the last 24 hours
Flatline said 453 days ago:
Great shot. But like Zorilla said, this couldn't have been taken in the last 24 hours. The last Tower closed three months ago.
Nevertheless, I like the shot, and prefer to interpret the theme loosely on the time-frame issue.
bioLarzen said 453 days ago:
Maybe it's a shot of an earlier shot? :D

I think New Orleans still has a Towers we were there a few months ago and they did.
Congrats on the feature!

I am interested in your comment calling this shot "retro processing". How do you mean this? I am not noticing anything in particular about how the photograph was processed that makes me think "retro" other than that there aren't that many record stores around anymore.
Ana said 453 days ago:
There are still Towers in other parts of the world. Just not the US. At least I think so!
