A good idea with wonderful texture coming off the metal, but it doesn't quite make it for me. I think it's the lighting...

yeah, i didn't adjust the levels or anything and it is a little bright. i still like the nature/rust deal, though.

The image its too obvious. the object offer more posibilities, maybe a macro? The color are good and the image very sharp.

I like the composition very much but find the angle of the background just a little to severe for my taste.

@kpaul...I'm often impressed with how tenacious living things are, where they grow, find a home, thrive. I thought this photograph illustrated that quality of tenacity very well.

I also think we'll be finding life, microbial or otherwise, off-Earth, within my lifetime. Maybe we'll find rust, too!
