I like this rusty, diagonal flat iron line. The light in the background with the aperture star is a nice touch.

Thank you for commenting, Tanja. This is fresh from the camera, and a 30 second exposure. I didn't touch the colour.

@Tanja...if we made everything the color it would appear to be at noon, we'd lose much beauty in the world. This is the color effect of sodium-vapor lamps (I think) and, IMHO, adds a sense of time and place to the image.

I was looking at some railway tracks this morning which weren't rusty at all so I trust yours are. I like the colour-effect a lot.

I actually took this shot with a flash, also. But it didn't appeal to me as much as the long exposure. Apparently, I was wrong. :)

Some people think there are too many notes in a Mozart's tune and tree trunks are not pink (but Gauguin did- and when you look carefully, they are, sometimes...)
