One is rewarded by clicking on this image to see the enlarged version. Aggressive rust here. I wouldn't want to be the next electrician to work on these circuits. Dramatic textures and a pleasing melange of colors. High marks from me.

Here's another lesson learned about how images are featured. I provided the 9th set of ratings for this image and the yellow star appeared instantly after I hit the submit button. I now think that each image is compared to the average overall rating for all other submitted images. If the overall rating crosses some moving threshhold (say the 85th percentile of all submissions), the image is featured. That would provide one reason why some images don't get featured right away...it's a moving target.

Yeah, I know...under the system I just described, the first image submitted would always be featured. Back to the drawing board.
