Great shot, but it seems to be a picture of kangaroos that just happens to have a few spots of rain in it. Not a 'rain' shot, as such.

@psychodudu: thanks, yes it was a spring sun shower. Any sort of rain is a rare sight but one like this is even rarer.

@Montage: You're right, it is a bit of a stretch of the imagination to call this rain but cut me a little slack - any sort of precipitation is a miracle around here! :-D

I think just because it happens to be raining, this picture is not about the rain. Also, the kangaroos are shifted right from the center - that disturbes me a bit.
The quality and technique, on the other hand, are rather convincing!

I understand you. I live rather far from you, in Hungarym in Europe. Not the driest place on earth :), still, teher has been no rain since the first day of the current theme. And it could stay like that until the final day, and I have no rainy pictures in store - so what could I do? The theme doesn't seem to be very fair, to be honest... I don't know why we, the competitors, coudn't chose the topic, but all right, I'm not making the rules :)

So, I just can understand you, that's all :)

This says Kangaroo more than rain but I still love it - the lighting is wonderful.
