While this definitely pertains to the theme at hand it lacks the clarity and creativity of the majority in the group.

Though it's raining in the picture, the first thing I notice is a huge piece of something on the right. That sort of wrecks the composition. This image might have more impact if it was recomposed so that that piece wasn't in the picture and the image was straightened. There was definite potential with the reflection in the side walk and the bright umbrella, but in the end, it just doesn't work for me.

For me this image has a strange quality that I like very much. It also reminds me of Buenos Aires, which is always going to get my attention.
