I realize you would have had to get run over to get it, but the angle would have been much cooler if you could have placed those rainbows over the runners rather than behind them. As it is, my eye keeps darting back and forth between two focal points, the rainbow and the pack of runners. I'm betting you didn't have a lot of time to set up and squeezed this off in a hurry.

Very true. In fact I had jumped out of a moving car as the rain finally subsided and the race began.

hehe. rainbow photos scare me too.

This was just about the only rain photo I had... and honestly curiosity got the best of me. When I posted it on flickr this image was obscenely popular and it killed me, because honestly I don't think it's that special.
