The shadows and highlights are a little blown out for me.

I like the symettry and the contrast alot. I wish that black sign wasn't there right in the middle of the top of the frame. Obviously there is nothing to really do about that...and the shot is very good anyway, I just wish that wasn't there ;)

And I'm going to go out on a limb and guess this is an Arne Gulstene shot...it just has many elements of his style.

This is like one of those "Spot The Difference" puzzles

There's a certain pleasing geometry going, but for me overall the image is kind of flat. It doesn't move me too much. I do like the tones.

This image addresses the theme and I like the counterpoint of the arches at the top of the array of telephones against the boxes that hold the books.
Overall, however, the image doesn't grab me. A tighter crop and taking out the sign, top center, might make this a more dramatic image, IMHO.

Nice choice, the b/w. I wonder if it could be a little sharper on the phones, though...
