Yes, I see where you were going with this. This subject could have ben really good for this topic, but this particular composition doesn't quite get there. As an aside, the colors seem off - too much warm light, you need to white-balance.

Great catch on the theme, this is really phallic indeed. Too bad the shot isn't that great technically speaking.

Clever Thought!

While the psychology of this image is spot on... the thurst of the cockpit being phallic and rather Freudian, the capture itself guides me to see the race car as less phallic than I had anticipated. I am not sure why exactly... perhaps the perspective or the cropping make it more challenging for me to view it phallically. I like the image.
