I would have cropped this right above the priests knuckles. Nothing up there is needed, and is just distraction. I also would have cropped it right under the baby's ear? Those squeezing hands look out of place. Is the baby sleeping?

This is very nice....a unique moment, for sure. Not sure about "everday life" but everything else is beautiful.

Not sure about the softening of this shot - I think it would work well if it wasn't quite so intense. Like it none the less!
