I can't help but quote the theme suggestion:

It is a pretty cool shot but it doesn't quite hit the remit (relevance) for me I'm afraid. Is the DoF a tad bit too limited also? Great processing, great framing, just not sure.

I think the gesture creates a lot of drama and interest but I really wish there were a face to go with it.

Not really relevant, but gorgeous shot nonetheless. Composition and the texture effect are top-notch!
