Feels more like a "tourist" activity, not a daily life kind of scene, except for the guard... Must be an overcast day, the lighting falls a little flat, which pulls down the impact a little.

I'm trying to figure out what this is, exactly. The sign says "New Age"...there appears to be a Roman soldier on a horse and tourists. Well, interesting gets you good marks for this although I'd love to see a more specific focus and perhaps a black and white version.

this is one of the 'horse guards' in London. they sit on their horses all day. Where once they were guards, they are now a tourist attraction..
and yes.. the light was terrible :(

@flipthom- the sign actually says 'beware- horses might kick or bite'
Ana said 359 days ago:

move to London.. there are two at least :P
the theme doesnt have to be our life surely..
Ana said 359 days ago:
This theme confuses me.....
big time.....
sigh.
I feel super stupid. Life Magazine? Every day activities. No idea how that fits together....

Relevant, I guess, but the shot as a whole doesn't hold a lot of interest for me. Seems more just like a bit of a tourist snapshot.

i have a number of 'good' photos of just the guy on the horse. but this one, i felt, gave the feeling more of being in his life- i.e a tourist attraction

I like this quite a bit, however I think that it would be far more effective in b/w
