@philippe - Yes. I have said that MANY times before ;) I look at painted curbs a lot when I am out in the field, and this one seemed like it had potential for this theme. Yes, I know I spelled out the name of the theme IN the theme. I will never live that down I guess ;)

@blizzard - You got the secondary joke ;) Congrats! I wonder if anyone else will....

The image is terrific. You've chosen a great "ASS" to compose the shot, what with the chipped paint in the first S and the crack between the "A" and "S".

This doesn't speak to me at all on relevance on an emotional level, but on a visual/aesthetic level I think it does. There's something cracked, chipped, worn and generally Pain-In-The-Ass-ish about it.

I like the different take on the theme. Well done.

I guess "technically you did notice the "crack" George. Although from your comment it wasn't as easy to determine that you were thinking of this as the proverbial "ass crack" in the same way that Ms. Blizzard was ;)
