the lens is a EF 600/F4 L IS
for myself it's a PITA in any relation. weight, price, quality, etc. :-)

Vernon, I've got a 600 mm, f2.8, that collapses (like a telescope) and fits in my jacket pocket. It's very good for starting fires.

In LA we have so many paparazzi photographers with that kind of lens, who really are a PITA, whether you're a celebrity or not. I live right up the street from "TomKat" and can't get to Sunset Blvd some days, esp. when they were expected home with their baby.
