gobbi Hilda miként vág a témába? Ezt nem igazán értem :(
Viszont a kép remek -> magas pontszám.
Ana said 511 days ago:
I'm guessing I should know who this is...
bioLarzen said 511 days ago:
Ana,
She was Hild Gobbi, a Hungarian actress who was very famous in the country but not really known outside of it.

a pain in the ass actress??

How fascinating. There has to be a story with this. High marks from me...in anticipation of reading the story.
I think I'm about to get a history lesson.

Who is this person?
gazdi said 510 days ago:
Yes, she's Hilda Gobbi, one of the greatest Hungarian actresses ever. In my memories (coming from her acts) she is _the_ sad, sour old crone who has a cutting phrase or two for everyone, hence comes into the theme. (But the character she plays is so wise that she becomes a positive person.)
This particular statue show this reserved and thoughtful mind, I tried to cenvey the feeling I think she has near the end of her way: 'Have I been right to instruct people by crying them down?'
Yes, I agree, a picture that needs explanation is not a picture for the public. :)

@gazdi..."a picture that needs explanation is not a picture for the public." Perhaps, but a good one for the theme I just suggested: "What's the Story?"
gazdi said 510 days ago:
Well, you're right, King. Speaking about your theme suggestion, I wonder how many will mix relevance and impact when it comes to giving scores.
King said 510 days ago:
gazdi,
Relevance and Impact are already mixed in most cases, in my opinion.
I have a low opinion of the reliability of the ratings system in truly evaluating the attributes the various scales were designed to measure.

Well said.
