Bottom right corner? What is that? It really draws the eye from the focal point. Great shot otherwise!!

The first thing I notice about these carrots is how wonderfully fresh they look. The second thing I notice, unfortunately, is the little bit of plastic in the corner. It is very distracting and looks like an oversight, rather than being deliberate. (If it is deliberate, I don't know what it adds, sorry!) I also find the blurry background to be just slightly too blurry, since the greenery is nearly half of the picture.

However, I am still giving this high ratings because I really like the orange in this (very natural and not forced via high contrast), I really like exposure, and I really like the framing. :)

Agreed on both counts - that purple wrapper IS distracting - and NOT deliberate!

I think the ratings and comments are spot on.

Kerouac said "first thought, best thought," and I definitely put that into play here - but it doesn't really work. The critiques have been fair thus far, so I've no complaints. I appreciate the candor.
