Excelent image. I know the black specs in the sky are birds, but they are somewhat of a visual annoyance. I'd retouch them out.

wow. i hadn't seen this one yet.(that's what happens when you rely primarily on the "rate me" link!) i like the black dots in the sky. i know they're birds, and in fact they add a dynamic dimension to the image that otherwise to me would tend more to be static. i imagine they're buzzards circling over a carcass atop the butte. anyway...terrific shot.

Thanks everyone for the comments on this one.
George: They're Turkey Vultures and I think they were just enjoying the winds that were blowing because they would just take off, circle, and land back in their nests that are located on the edge, near the top. It was amazing thing to see!
gpinto: You're criticism is valid and I can see why you might think they're an annoyance when you look at them small on a computer screen, but when you see the print large, especially over 16x20, it's obvious that they are birds and I think they add a litte bit of life to all that stone.
