What were they painting? Was anything other than the paint bucket orange before you desaturated the image?

Na they weren't painting anything this was just an empty paint bucket lying on the side of the road : it's the only orange thing in the shot.Well thanks for the comment : but I wonder if you liked the shot....

Love the ideaa of selective desaturation - I suppose this theme lends itself to that really.
I would have prefered a tighter crop though.

Very creative and well-done. I would also love to see this shot with a slightly lower exposure, as I think its impact might be improved even more.

I think this is those kind of trap it is easy to fall into. Desaturate all the picture except one object and put it in orange. Sorry but I'm not fan of this shot even if the orange object respect the rules of photography.

I like the idea but I wish the crop was tighter so the focus on the paint can would be stronger.
